WARNING! IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE CONNECTING THE APPARATUS, READ INSTRUCTIONS
Please observe the following safety tips and precautions
to ensure a hazard-free use of the AERO8.
Power requirements
Since power consumption of this unit is fairly high, we
recommend the use of an AC adapter whenever possible.
When powering the unit from batteries, use only alkaline
types.
AC adapter operation
Be sure to use only an AC adapter which supplies 9V DC,
1A and equipped with a “center minus” plug. The use of an
adapter other than the specifi ed type may damage the unit
and pose a safety hazard. Connect the AC adapter only to
an AC outlet that supplies the rated voltage required by the
adapter. When disconnecting the AC adapter from the AC
outlet, always grasp the adapter itself and do not pull at
the cable. During lighting storms or when the unit is not
used the unit for an extended period, disconnect the AC
adapter from the AC outlet.
Battery operation
Use four conventional IEC R6(size AA) batteries (alkaline).
AERO8 cannot be used for recharging. Pay close attention
to the labelling of the battery to make sure you choose
the correct type. When not using the unit for an extended
period, remove the batteries from the unit. If battery
leakage has occurred, wipe the battery compartment and
the battery terminals carefully to remove all remnants of
battery fl uid. While using the unit, the battery compartment
cover should be closed.
Environment
To prevent the risk of fi re, electric shock or malfunction,
avoid using your AERO8 in environments where it will be
exposed to:
- extreme temperatures,
- heat sources such as radiators or stoves,
- high humidity or moisture,
- excessive dust or sand,
- excessive vibrations or shocks.
Handling
Never place objects fi lled with liquids, such as vases on
the AERO8 since this can cause an electric shock. Do
not place naked fl ame sources, such as lighted candles,
on the AERO8 since this can cause fi re. The AERO8 is a
precision instrument. Do not exert undue pressure on the
keys and other controls. Also take care not to drop the unit,
and do not subject it to shock or excessive pressure. Take
care that no foreign objects (coins or pins etc.) or liquids
can enter the unit.
Alterations
Never open the case of the AERO8 or attempt to modify
the product in any way since this can result in damage to
the unit.
FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND HEED ALL WARNINGS.
KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS!
OVERVIEW
We are delighted that you chose to purchase of our 4 Watt
AERO series mini combo guitar amplifi er AERO8 use the
True Simulation of Analog Circuits (TSAC) technology
which were developed to accurately mimic the way an
all-tube amplifi er interacts with a loudspeaker. As a result
of its 32-bit DSP equipped and 44.1 kHz CD quality sound,
AERO8 will give you a tube-like tone never before thought
possible in such an affordable but fl exible, mini amp.
Channels can be switched between clean and lead
(overdrive). Through a powerful 32-bit DSP, clean and
lead channels create a total of seven preamps simulation,
including clean, blues, overdrive, crunch, classic,
superlead and heavy metal instead of one fl at distortion
sound! The 4 Watt power amp, combined with the 6.5”
speaker, results in a very powerful amplifi er that us
suffi cient while on the move or in living room conditions.
Includes easy to use, 3-band equalizer (Bass, Middle and
Treble).
AERO8 also feature built-in 6 types of digital effect, Chorus,
Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo, Delay and Reverb, which
Separate Delay and Reverb effects provided individual
controls from modulation effects.
A tuner function is also included. A LED display allows you
to tune your guitar with pitch reading.
Equipped with mixer/phones output jack for plugging
headphones or a recording device in.
AERO8 is equipped with two external input jacks, which
is convenient for your practice sessions. Use this to play
along with sounds from drum machine, CD and MP3
players.
The battery can be used in this unit, 6-AA alkaline cells will
provide approximately 8 hours of continuous operation.

TYPE SWITCH
You can select from the following six types:
• Blues
This is modeled on the classic American blues sound
amplifi er. The amplifi er’s four 10-inch speakers produce
a clear upper-midrange with a fat low end, and its unique
crunch tones make it a favorite of blues-rock guitarists.
• Overdrive
This is modeled on the sound of overdriving a tube
amplifi er. This produce a midrange boost sound.
• Crunch
This is modeled on the British class-A combo amp that
created the Liverpool sound of the 60’s. It can produce a
clear low-midrange with tight low end.
• Classic
This is modeled on the sound and response of a legendary
UK classic stack birthed in 60’s. It is renowned for its tight
low end, and smooth presence for classic and hard rock.
• SUPER LEAD
This is modeled on the American modern high gain amp.
This super high gain amp is favorite for lead sounds or
80’s metal.
• HEAVY METAL
This is modeled on the famous metal pedal created
in 90’s. It can produce a tons of bottom and shocked
uppermidrange.
GAIN
Rotate this knob to determine the amount of distortion in
the LEAD channel.
LEVEL
Rotate this knob to control the Lead channel’s volume
level.
EQ SECTION
The Bass, Mid and High knobs adjust the tones quality and
affect both channels.
CHORUS/FLANGER/PHASER/TREMOLO
Turn this knob to
chorus, fl anger, phaser
, or
tremolo
to
select the corresponding effect. Turn the knob to adjust
the amount of effect applied. The red indicator above this
knob lights up when EFX is turned on, and goes out when
EFX is turned off.
Note:
graduations for chorus, fl anger, phaser and tremolo
on the panel are for reference. Be sure to check the sound
as you adjust the effects.
CHORUS
A
chorus
adds a short delay to your signal. The delayed
signal is modulated in and out of tune and then mixed back
with the original signal to create a thicker sound.
FLANGER
A
fl anger
uses the same principle as a chorus but uses a
shorter delay time and adds regeneration (or repeats) to
the modulating delay. This results in an exaggerated up
and down sweeping motion to the effect.
PHASER
A
phaser
splits the incoming signal, and then changes
the phasing of the signal. This signal is then taken in and
out of phase and mixed back in with the original signal. As
the phasing changes, different frequencies get canceled
resulting in a warm sort of twisting sound.
TREMOLO
A
tremolo
is basically a change of the signal level
controlled by an LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator).
DELAY/REVERB
Turn this knob to
delay
or
reverb
to switch to that effect.
Turn the knob to adjust the amount of effect applied.
Note:
graduations for delay and reverb on the panel are
for reference. Be sure to check the sound as you adjust
the effects.
