INVERTER CONNECTION
There are potentially 3 issues to consider with inverter connection:
Power
Enable
Brightness
Please read the following sections for a guide to these issues.
Inverter Power:
As per the table for J501 pin 5 and 6 is ground and pin 7, 8 provide 12V DC and
pin 4 is 5V DC (For Extensive options). This should be matched with the inverter specification:
see table.

1
BL_BRIGHT
PWM signal for backlight control.
2
BL_EN
To turn backlight On/Off
3

For Extensive options (e.g. touch screen)
5

6

7
BL-VCC (12V)
Power supply pin
8
BL-VCC (12V)
Power supply pin
Enable:
This is a pin provided on some inverter for On/Off function and is used by this panel
controller. Pin 2 should be matched to the inverters specification for the 'enable' or 'disable' pin.

Brightness:
There are various methods for brightness control and it is important to consider the
specifications for the inverter to be used. Generally the situation is:
Brightness can be controlled by using a VR
Brightness controlled by adding a circuit such as PWM (Pulse Width Modulation).
Pin 1 should be matched to the inverters specification for the 'BL_BRIGHT' pin. (PHI-E)
