LUGGAGE BOX INSTALLATION
STEP 4—
The bolts should protrude from the bottom of
the box and on either side of the middle two bars on
the rack as shown in Picture
A
and the diagram.
If the bolts are aligned properly on the outsides of the
bars as shown, install the mounting brackets from
underneath by sliding them widthwise across the bars
onto the bolts with the hollow side facing down and
affixing locking nuts onto the bolts. Refer to Picture
B
.
Tighten the nuts with a wrench to hold the assembly in
place.

CONNECTING THE LIGHTS
STEP 5—
Remove the storage box underneath the seat by
removing the six bolts shown in the picture to gain access to
the rear tail light wire harness, which is located on the right-
hand side of the vehicle next to the fuel tank.
STEP 6—
Thread the lamp wire through the hole in the cor-
ner at the base of the luggage box as shown in the picture.
STEP 7—
Connect the
BLACK/WHITE
wire from the luggage box to the
GREEN/YELLOW
wire on the tail light wire harness.
Connect the
BLACK
wire from the luggage box to the
BLACK
wire on
the tail light wire harness. Use the connector supplied with the kit.
Ensure all connections are tight and use electrical tape or an electrical
wire tie where necessary.
Test operation by turning on the ignition and squeezing the brake lever.
The brake lights on the box should illuminate. If not, ensure the con-
nections are correct and properly secured. Reinstall the storage box
beneath the seat when wiring is complete. The luggage box is now
ready to be enjoyed.
