SET UP YOUR e-pill Med-Time XL AUTOMATIC PILL DISPENSER 

 

Before you can begin to use your new e-pill automatic pill dispenser, you must set it up. At a 
minimum you must set the current time, number of daily alarms (doses) and the alarm times 
under 

Mode-A 

(basic settings).  

Additional optional functions (

Mode-B

) include alarm tone, alarm duration, dispensing history 

log file, early dose, auto daylight saving time, visual alarm and diagnostic tests. 

Your e-pill Med-Time XL contains two programming modes, 

Mode-A 

and 

Mode-B

, to 

program system functions (see below).   

Mode-A: Tap button 1 to move between menu choices (CLOCK > DOSES > ALARMS >).  

Mode-B: To reach Mode-B, first press and hold BUTTON 3 for five (5) Seconds until the word 
BEFORE appears. Release button 3. Tap button 1 to move between menu choices 

BEFORE > AFTER > SOUND > LIGHT > HOURS > DATE > RECORD > TEST > BEFORE 

Please remember to press Button 1 for 5 seconds to store your settings. Your Med-Time XL 
responds by memorizing the settings and returning to normal operating mode (shows current 
time on the display).

After you complete the set-up of either 

Mode-A

press Button 1 for Five (5) Seconds

 to store the 

settings and return to normal operating mode.

If you press no Buttons for 30 seconds, Med-Time XL automatically 
returns to normal operating mode (automatic time-out).
