OOKMARKS
Bookmarking is a way to distinguish your favorite
tracks so you can isolate and play them back as a
group. You can bookmark up to 200 tracks on one
CD and the Silhouette remembers them for 12
recently played CDs.
There are two ways to create and remove a book-
mark:

During playback or
•
by using the Navigation menu.

During
Playback
To bookmark a track while you play it, press and
hold the
RPT/SEL
button and a checkmark
appears on the LCD.
Note you cannot bookmark a directory (folder)
during playback, however, you can use the Menu
feature to do so. For more information, see the next
section

.
To remove a bookmark from a track while you are
playing it, press and hold the
RPT/SEL
button.
You will notice the checkmark no longer appears
on the LCD.
Note you can quickly delete all bookmarks by using
the Menu feature. For more information, see
Remove All Bookmarks on page 23
.
