Charging the Batteries
The indicator light will turn solid red during the 10 to 12 hour
charge cycle and stay red even though the unit is fully charged.

Battery Care:
It is important to fully charge the batteries and fully discharge them for
the first three uses. After that it is not necessary to fully discharge the
batteries with each use, because NiMH do not exhibit “memory effect”
like other rechargeable battery types. It is recommended that every six
months you recondition the batteries by fully discharging them and then
fully charging them, this will ensure you get the rated 500 charges per
battery.
