2. Inspect the appliance and the accessories carefully to verify their soundness and undamaged condition. Only
perfectly sound and damage-free appliances may be connected to the electrical mains.
3. Never leave the nylon packing bag, which is part of the package, within the reach of children who could play
with it.
Assembling cleaner
•
The appliance can be used either as a handheld or a handled vacuum cleaner.
•
To use as a handheld vacuum cleaner, connect the crevice tool to the suction head connector.
•
To use as a handled vacuum cleaner, connect the floor brush to the suction head connector then push the
handle into the handle connector until it stops. Make sure that the pin on the handle sits in the groove of the
handle connector. Upon dismantling, pull the handle out of the holder.
USING OF APPLIANCE
•
To turn on the applicance, slide the on/off button downwards. To turn it off, slide the on/off button upwards.
To use the floor brush on carpet, carefully pull out the rubber blade, located on the bottom of the
head. For cleaning a hard floor, push it back carefully into the rail to achieve optimum suction
performance.
Notes
•
Take care to avoid lightweight or fragile items and pieces of furniture. Bumping into the corners or legs of
furniture could break the appliance or its cleaning attachments - and could also permanently damage the
furniture.
•
The manufacturer is not liable for damage to fixtures or furnishings caused by incorrect use of the vacuum
cleaner. The warranty does not cover breaks, cracks or other damage to the appliance (including its
attachments and its accessories) resulting from impact or other external events.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Warning!
Before you clean the appliance it must be switched off and the mains plug must be removed from
the wall socket.
•
Clean the outside cover of the appliance with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and then wipe the cleaned
surfaces with a dry lint-free cloth. Take care not to allow any moisture inside the cover. Let the appliance dry
completely before re-using or storing it.
•
When cleaning the appliance, never use solvent (acetone, benzole, petrol, alcohol, etc.) as these may solve
the casing material, or the internal parts of the appliance if they get into. Do not use cleaning agents with
coarse or grinding effect.
