MECHANICAL INSTALLATION / TEMPLATE

The DS1375 provides four integral suspension toggles. Remove the perforated grill by pressing down on

the  support toggles. The grille will pop out. A circular template is included in the shipping carton. Use this

template to cut a hole for the speaker.

After cutting a hole in the ceiling tile insert the speaker into the hole and tighten the four toggles to secure

the speaker to the ceiling tile. If required, provide additional support via the integral support hook. be sure

to set the speaker for the correct impedance/wattage as described below.

Re-insert the speaker grille after installation.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION - select

70 volt wattage OR 8 ohm

For use in Dynasound Networked systems incorporating DS8000 speaker con-

troolers, the DS1375 speakers must be set to the 8 ohm position. Each speaker

will be wired individually when used in 8 ohm sytems.

For use in 70 volt systems the DS1375 speakers must be set to one of the 70 volt

positions. Typically the 1 watt setting is used for 70 volt systems. Speakers will be

“daisy chained” together when used in 70 volt systems.

Cut and strip the connecting wire. Twist the black wires together and twist the red

(or white) wires together. Put a crimp connector on each connection and insert the

connections into the speaker and then screw down the strain relief clamp.
