Blow out the cooling fins and cooling air intake openings with
compressed air.

Bleeding the fuel system
The fuel shut-off valve automatically interrupts the engine’s fuel
supply if the oil pressure is too low.
This makes it necessary to bleed the fuel system in the following
situations:
n
After an engine shut-down due to an empty fuel tank.
n
After filling the fuel tank for the first time.
n
After using the crank handle without starting, e.g. when tem-
peratures are low.
n
After several unsuccessful starting attempts.
n
After replacing the fuel filter.
Protective equipment:
n
Working clothes
n
Safety shoes
n
Protective gloves

Allow the engine to cool down.
2.
Check the engine oil level, top up if necessary.
The fuel tank must be full when bleeding.
3.
Check the fuel level, top up if necessary.
