a. Locate the framing in the wall.
(This may be done with
a stud finder.)
b. Use two adjacent studs with two bolts into each stud.
c. Mark the exact location of the studs that you intend to
use to secure the Mount. The center of gravity of the
TV and Mount should fall between the two studs.
IMPORTANT! For a safe installation, the screw bolts
must be screwed securely into the center of the studs.
It is very important to make sure you have located the
studs correctly. If in doubt, use a nail or spike to feel for
the studs through the sheetrock.
d. Hold the Mount in place on the wall at the height you
have chosen and over the studs you have marked.
e. Mark out four points for the bolts. All four points
must be centered on a stud.
f. Take away the Mount and drill
one
of the holes at the
correct position into a stud.
Use a 1/4 in. drill for the
3/8 in. lag bolts with washers supplied.
Drilling for
the bolt on the top right is usually easiest.
g. Now place the Mount back into place, and screw in the
first bolt.
h. With a
bubble-level
: Level the bracket on the wall and
mark the exact position.
i. Drill the remaining three holes and secure with the

(top right for ease of access), before levelling

With one bolt in place, level the Mount us-
ing a bubble level.
When levelled, mark and drill the remain-
ing 3 holes.
Screw in the remaining bolts with washers.
