Main Menu Introduction

3. Preference Menu

The preference menu is used to set 

language and audio configuration.

3.1 OSD Language

OSD Language is used to set menu 

language.

3.2 OSD Timeout

OSD timeout is used to set the display time 

of the menu.

3.3 OSD Transparency

OSD Transparency is used to adjust the 

transparency of the Main Menu.

3.4 Hard Hearing

The hard hearing selection will allow you to 

set special subtitles for hearing impaired 

users. It is dependant on if the broadcast 

operator supports this function.

3.5 Setting

By selecting setting you are able to set 

system configurations.

3.6 Upgrade

The Upgrade menu is where users go to 

complete software upgrades.

3.7 USB Upgrade

Select USB Upgrade and press the [OK] 

button to enter the USB update menu. If a 

USB device is inserted the menu will display 

like the image to the right. 

If you press the [OK] button you can  enter 

into a folder. Select rom.bin and press the 

[ENTER] button to start a USB update 

shown in the figure to the right. Once the 

USB upgrade is finished the system will 

restart automatically.

3.8 AV Setting

The AV setting is used to set video output 

configurations including; resolution, output 

format etc.

3.9 Aspect Radio

The aspect ratio setting is used to set the 

length width ratio of video. 

3.10 Video Resolution

The video resolution setting is used to set 

video output resolution and refresh the 

frequency.

3.11 HDMI Audio

The HDMI audio setting is used to set 

HDMI audio output to either HDMI 

Mute/HDMI PCM/HDMI RAW.
