DETAILED MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
(Turn power “OFF” before conducting any maintenance procedures)
HOW TO CHANGE BATTERY
• Loosen the screw
on the back end of
the seat.
• Lift the seat from
the vehicle.
• Loosen the screw on
the battery retainer and
remove it.
• Remove the battery from
the battery compartment.
• Disconnect the control
module connector from the
battery connector.
• Change with a new 6 volt
(4Ah) battery.
• Fit the 6 volt battery inside the battery
compartment with the wires facing
towards the rear of the vehicle.
• Place the battery retainer back in
position and use a Phillips screwdriver
to tighten it with screws as shown.
• Plug the battery connector into the
control module connector.
Hint:
If the battery connector will not plug
into the control module connector, turn it
over and try again! Do not force the battery
connector into the control module connector.
• Insert the front tab under the seat into
the slot on front of the vehicle.
• Replace the screw on the back end of
the seat and tighten it with a Phillips
screwdriver. (Do not over-tighten it.)
Important:
Always remember to tighten
the screw and keep it tightened at all
times to prevent children from accessing
the battery.
