5.4.6.1 Alarm Input Settings
Four alarm inputs can be connected to the encoder’s rear panel. See Figure 2: EN-204 Rear Panel
(page 4).

Repeat the procedures below for each alarm.
Many actions can be triggered upon receiving an input alarm, as discussed below. For example, an
input alarm can trigger recording of the input from a few cameras, enable an alarm output, trigger
PTZ camera movement (preset, sequence, pattern, etc.), and more.
