Th
e DC 2800 EX is a stable, tough and reliable machine.
It can be used for spot extraction in many diff erent app-
lications ie: grinding and cleanup. Th
e machine can be
used in temperatures between 0 and +50 degrees Celsius.
Th
e DC 2800 EX shall be used for suction and separa-
tion of dried dust. It has been developed for explosion
risk environments and for companies who have high
demands for clean production, e.g. companies within the
food, electronics or woodwork industries.
Th
e machine fulfi ls the demands for separation of un-
healthy dust.
ATEX
Th
e unit and accessories are suitable for use in Zone 22, in
use with non-conductive dust.
Description
Operation
Connect the unit to a suitable power source,
note requirements on the ID plate. If an
extension cord is to be used, only waterproof
cords are acceptable.
Th
e DC 2800 EX is equipped with a fi lter
indication lamp that indicates when the
fi lter needs cleaning or changing. Th
e fi lter
is genereally cleaned once or twice daily
during normal continuous operation. Th
e
unit must be in operation to perform fi lter
cleaning. Loose the tube from the suction
pipe and press the plastic cage against the
black stop head on the exhaust channel
so
that maximum pressure is created in the
cyclone.
Open the port on the side o the unit three
to six times. Th
is reverse pulse of air cleans
the fi lter.
Th
e container under the cyclone should be emptied when it is fi lled to ca 2/3.
