5.
Clean the machine before disassembling.
6.
A room with filtered, forced ventilation is recommended.
7.
Clean the maintenance area in advance.
8.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
9.
The cyclone filter cartridge must be replaced when necessary, but at least once a year. Only use original filters, see
Consumables.
10. Motor unit: The filters in the motor housing must be replaced as part of the annual service. These parts must be replaced by
authorized staff trained by Dustcontrol. These filters are part of the explosion protection system. At high dust levels, an
inspection should take place after 4 months to determine if the filters need to be replaced more frequently.
11. Overload protection. The machine is equipped with an overheating protection. If there is insufficient air flow through the unit
(due to overload), the motor will be switched off when the temperature exceeds 55°C. In these situations, it is important to
investigate the cause of the overheating. Turn off and disconnect the power supply, and then wait for the motor to cool down
(it can take up to 30 minutes).
WARNING
Do not reuse the filter after it has been removed from the machine.
The fine filter must be changed at least once a year. The HEPA filter must be replaced after approx. 300 hours of operation. Wear
a protective mask when changing the filter. Only use original filters. Release and lift off the cover. To prevent leakage of dust,
place a plastic bag over the cyclone and remove the filter cartridge. Clean the filter plate. Fit the new filter.

The HEPA filter is removed by opening the cover and detaching the cartridge. By gently tilting the detached motor head away
from the cyclone, a lateral pressure occurs on the HEPA filter cartridge that is attached to the motor. If necessary, repeat the
procedure until the HEPA filter falls into the fine filter cartridge. The HEPA filter and the fine filter can then be discarded. The new
filter cartridge is placed in the fine filter and is sealed when you carefully fit the cover.
The vacuum unit has an extremely long service life and requires no maintenance. The seals must be checked after approximately
1,000 hours of operation. These parts must be replaced if wear is detected.
