Winding the hook thread

To wind the hook thread:

Fit the thread reel on the reel stand (6).

Loosen the nut (5).

CAUTION

Risk of injury from sharp and moving parts!

Puncture or crushing possible.

Switch off the machine before winding the hook
thread.
Do not reach into the needle tip.

NOTICE

Property damage may occur!

An incorrect tube height setting may lead to tension
deviations as a result of the thread becoming caught or
jammed.
The hook thread is wound on unevenly.

Set the height of the tube as specified above.
