B. Remove battery pack from the hedge trimmer before transporting or storing the tool.
Rotating handle feature
A. Hold the trimmer with both hands, one hand on the front handle, the other on the
rear handle. Use your thumb to pull the Handle Rotation lock button back and rotate the
handle. The handle will lock in three positions, centre, left 90°and right 90°.
B. Release the Handle Rotation Button which will lock the handle into the chosen position
OPERATING
1. Do not force the hedge trimmer through heavy shrubbery. This can cause the blades to
bind and slow down. If the blades slow down, reduce the pace
2. Do not try to cut stems or twigs that are larger than 15 mm thick, or those obviously too
large to feed into the cutting blade. Use a hand saw or pruning cutters to trim large stems.
3. An easy way to keep your hedge level is to run a string line guide. Stretch a piece of
string along the hedge just below your intended cutting line. Trim the hedge just above this
guide line.
4. Trim the side of a hedge so that it tapers slightly towards the top (the hedge will be
slightly wider at the bottom than at the top. This improves the strength of the hedge and
allows lighter to reach the leaves.
