TOOL REPLACEMENT
•
Replacing the cutting tip should only be done when the tool is switched off and at
room temperature.
•
It is imperative that the tool is switched off, unplugged and allowed to cool before
and after cutter replacement.
•
Caution: Damage could occur if the tool is left on without the cutter attached.
Warning
: Care should be taken to avoid burns.
•
Attach the tip required for the cutting operation required.
•
Connect the cutting tool to the supplied PSU and plug the PSU into a mains power
socket.
•
Switch the in-line power switch to the ON position and the cutter will start to heat
up. The cutter is ready for use in around 10 seconds.
•
Always rest to cutter on the stand when not in use.
•
Avoid breathing any fumes or smoke given off by the material being worked. It is
advisable to wear a face mask when cutting foam.
CLEANING
SPECIFICATION
•
Cleaning should only be done when the iron is switched off and at room
temperature.
•
The iron may be cleaned with a damp cloth and a small amount of liquid detergent
if necessary.
•
Never submerse the soldering iron in liquid or allow any liquid to enter the case.
•
Do not use any chemicals, abrasives or solvents that could damage the soldering
iron.
