3. S t ar t ing
Your Vectron specialist retailer has programmed the
Duratec POS S15 for you. If necessary, he will be glad to support
you during initial start-up and will train you in using your POS
system.
3.1. Setting up the Duratec POS S15
3.1.1. Selecting the setup site for the
Duratec POS S15
•
Set up the Duratec POS S15 in a well-ventilated room
with a temperature between 0 and 40 °C.
•
The Duratec POS S15 must not be covered during
operation.
•
Select the setup site so that the Duratec POS S15 is not
exposed to direct sunlight.
•
Place the Duratec POS S15 on a stable, even surface
with sufficient space.
•
Make sure that no liquids can flow over the
Duratec POS S15 , the power supply unit or the mains
cable.
•
Route the cables so that they are not subjected to
tensile stress.
•
Route the cables so that no one can trip over them.
