BF.110 TIPS:

1. Whilst not essential to flying, the use of rudder in flight will greatly improve the look

of the model as it flies through maneuvers. It will let you explore the full potential of

this fine model and improve your flying skill. A mix of 40% aileron-rudder is

recommended as a good starting point.

2. Although it can be, the Bf.110 doesn’t need to be flown at full throttle all the time.

Dropping back on the throttle will not only let you enjoy the Bf.110 at a more scale

pace, it will also result in longer flight times, reduce the risk of the motors and

ESC’s over heating in hot weather and increase the life of your flight pack.

3. Flight packs of 25C dischrage rate or above are recommended for use in the Bf.110

to ensure optimal performance in flight.

4. Keep all leads within the fuselage area (under the battery hatch) as tidy as possible.

Following closely the slender lines of the original means there is not a great deal of

space in this area and tidy wires not only looks better but also allows the canopy to

attach fully whilst allowing air to pass around the internal electronics.

5. Inspect the propeller blade mounting nut/bolts frequently, especially if you’ve

suffered a hard landing or the prop has been knocked. The blades can come out of

alignment if forced, so it is important to maintain an equal distance between all

three blades to avoid any unwanted vibration or a drop in efficency. Keep them tight!

6. When the Bf.110 is not in use, it is recommended that it is stored with the landing

gear in the retracted position. This will prevent the gear door springs from stretching

and thus improve the operational life of the system.

Thank you again for purchasing the Durafly Messerschmitt Bf.110.

We hope you’ll have many happy days of dog fighting with other Durafly

warbirds and straffing runs down the strip ahead of you.
