TOOLS NEEDED 

 

Hammer or Mallet 
Drill with #2 Phillips drill bit or 

   Phillips Screwdriver 

 
 

ARBOR SIDE PANELS

 

     

(Refer to Drawing 1) (Make 2) 

 

 

On a clean flat surface lay two of 61” bent tubes down using the Drawing as your guide.  Slide the 
horizontal cross rails over bent tubes in the order shown on Drawing 1. 

Note:

 

Bent tubes are marked 

with a black mark on inside of tube to indicate top end. 

     

(Refer to Drawing 2) 

Lay one of the trellis legs so the routed holes are facing up and the pilot holes for screws are facing you.  
Insert the horizontal cross rails from assembly above into the trellis leg, add the bottom rail in the last 

routed hole of leg and slide the bent tubes into the outer holes of the bottom rail.  Press another leg over 

the opposite ends of the cross rails.  Lay the panel flat, (make sure cross rails are completely in both legs) 
and fasten with screws. Snap the screw caps over the screw heads.  

 

Stand panel up and slide the straight tube through the center holes. 
 

ARBOR TOP ASSEMBLY

 

     (Refer to Drawing 3) 

 
Lay one of the bent arbor top rails on flat surface with routed holes for tubes facing up.  Insert a tube in 

each of the holes, press the other bent arbor top over the opposite ends of the tubes and fasten the bent 

tops to the center 3 tubes with screws.  Snap screw caps on screw heads.  Set the flared ends of the arbor 
top assembly onto the side panels.  The screw caps of the panels should face the outside of the completed 

arbor.  Arbor is now ready for installation. 

 

INSTALLATION

 

 

In desired location set the arbor in place and mark where ground anchors will need to be inserted.  Using a 

block of wood to protect the flared edges of ground anchors; pound the anchors into place. (If ground is 
extremely hard, loosen or soak soil before inserting ground anchors).  Set arbor into ground anchors.  In 

windy areas it is recommended that you use the four extra screws to fasten the arbor to the ground 

anchors.  Drill a small pilot hole in the ground anchors and fasten.
