Description
The amplifier is switched on and off using this button at the front
panel. When switched off the device is internally separated from the
AC power. The LED at the front panel lights up when the device is
switched on. As a precaution, before switching on, the volume set-
ting (4) should be reduced.
This switch should be left in the “HIGH” position for common high
level sources (CD players, tuners etc.). It must only be set to “LOW”
if the amplifier is overdriven by the input signal (very loud, distor-
ted, clipping or effective area of control is in the lower range). The
volume (4) should be reduced for safety reasons before switching.
HIGH = normal sensitivity suitable for high level sources
LOW = lower sensitivity for more powerful input signals
