Operation
Every time you turn the key from ON to OFF, the
protection system activates the engine block.
When the ignition key is turned back to ON to start
the engine, the following happens:
1) if the code is recognised, the immobilizer enables
engine ignition. Press the START button (5), to
start the engine;
2) if the code is not acknowledged, the instrument
panel automatically activates the function to
enter the PIN code. Refer to the PIN entering
procedure for vehicle release. If also in this case
you are not able to start the engine, contact an
authorised Ducati service centre.

Warning
Strong impacts could damage the electronic
components inside the key. During the procedure
always use the same key. Using different keys may
prevent the system from acknowledging the code of
the inserted key.
