6. STARTING THE ENGINE
1) Screw the priming plug off and prime
the pump with water until the water is
overflowing (water pump set shall be placed
on a level ground).
2) Move the fuel valve lever to the “ON”
position.
3) To start a cold engine, move the choke lever
to the “CLOSED” position.

4) Move the throttle lever away from the
“SLOW” position about 1/3 of the way toward
the “FAST” position.
