Never use stale or contaminated gasoline or oil/gasoline mixture.
Avoid getting dirt or water in the fuel tank.
Occasionally you may hear a light “Spark knock” or “pinging”(metallic rapping noise) while operating under heavy
loads. This is no cause for concern.
If spark knock or pinging occurs at a steady engine speed, under normal load, change brands of gasoline. If
spark knock or pinging persists, see an authorized to manual.
NOTICE
Running the engine with persistent spark knock or pinging is misuse, and the Distributor’s Limited Warranty dies
not cover parts damaged by misuse.

Starting the Engine
1.
Make sure that the AC circuit breaker is in the OFF position. The generator may be hard to start if a load is
connected.
2.
Turn the fuel valve lever to the ON position.
3.
Turn the choke rod to the CLOSED position.
4.
Move the engine switch to the ON position.
