General warnings
Crushing risk – Comply with safety distances!
• Do not position items closer than 25 mm from the desk edges, and do not place the desk closer
than 25 mm to other units.
• Make sure that there is no-one under the desk while its height is being adjusted.
• The desk must be able to move freely up and down (53–140 cm from floor level). Keep this
zone clear of objects that may obstruct the movement of the desk. Make sure that cables are
long enough to accommodate the raising and lowering of the desk.
• Do not place loads of more than 125 kg on the desk.
• The desk must not be used to lift persons or objects.
• Never connect damaged cables to mains power.
• Make sure to prevent water or other liquids coming into contact with the electrical components.
• The desk is for commercial use and has been tested in accordance with the current standards
for this area.
Moving desks
• When moving desk types System 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, IQ
and Bocca, post-tighten the locking devices that hold the legs
and frame in place by fully depressing these devices.
See image.
• The raise/lower function of the desk must always be reset after
the desk has been moved. See the section concerning resetting.
If this function is not reset, it may have consequences for the
warranty.
How to adjust the height
The operating panel is positioned under the front edge of the desktop. The
right and left-hand buttons control the raising and lowering of the desk.
The function is only active while the appropriate button is depressed.
The lowering of the desk will not stop, even if the desktop or one of the desk legs comes into
contact with an object. If it is necessary to lower the desk to its lowest position, make sure that there
are no objects under the desk or the legs that may prevent its free movement. The desk will stop
moving when the operating panel is no longer being activated, or when the desk reaches its top or
bottom position.
Resetting
The desk must be reset before use. If the desk has been installed by a Duba-B8 fitter, it will have
been reset before being handed over to the user.
It is a good idea to reset the desk if:
• the desk has been moved
• the power supply to the desk has been interrupted
• the legs do not run completely parallel to each other.
