INSTALLING ACCESSORIES
The OS3000 has an integrated accessory quick-change mechanism that allows
you to install and remove accessories without the need of a wrench or hex key.
The quick-change mechanism eliminates the worry about losing a clamping
screw, nut, or washer.
To install an accessory:
1. Hold the tool upside down to prevent the accessory from falling off the
accessory holder.
2. Open the quick release lever (flip up) to unlock the clamping mechanism.
(The lever needs to be fully opened to unlock the clamping mechanism.)
3. Remove floating washer spacer tab from upper blade slot.
(keep the tab for
storage if desired).
4. Ensure/move floating washer down fully opening the upper blade slot.
(If washer is stuck or hot from recent use you, can use the blade tang to move the washer to
the down/open position)
5. Place the top blade (blade A) into the designated slot above the floating
washer at the desired angle. Move the floating washer up with you finger
to help hold the blade A in place. Make sure the blade engages all pins and
is flush between both the floating washer and the top of the designated
mounting area. You may need to wriggle the blade into position.
6. Place the bottom blade (blade B) into the designated slot below the floating
washer at the desired angle and make sure the blade engages all pins.
7. Close the quick-release lever (flip down) to lock the clamping mechanism.
Note: Accessories can be mounted either straight on
the tool or at an angle (up to 90o left or right)
to increase usability. Make sure the accessory
engages all pins in the holder and that the
accessory is flush against the holder.
When using any single blade/accessory, ALWAYS
mount it in the bottom slot designed for blade B.
