functions will only operate when vehicle is in Park and the

DVD and AUX AV audio can be heard while the vehicle is in
motion without engaging the parking brake.

Note:
The parking brake transition time must be less than 2 seconds between
depress and release. This procedure must be repeated anytime the unit or
vehicle ignition is turned off.
