CHAPTER 3

CONNECTORS
CONFIGURATION

Once the mainboard has been fastened into system case, the next step is to connect the internal
cables and external cables. The mainboard connectors have varying numbers of pins and are
the points of contact between the mainboard and other parts of the computer.
