Cleaning / disinfecting accessories and maintaining the unit
a)
Cleaning
Before initial use and after each use:
1. Disassemble each part
2. Wash them using hot, soapy
water and rinse
3. Allow parts to dry on a clean
cloth
b)
Disinfection
Before initial use and after each day of use:
1. Disassemble each
part
2a. Place parts in boiling water for 20 minutes
3. Allow parts to dry
on a clean cloth
OR
2b. Use a steriliser and place it in the microwave
(according to the steriliser’s recommendations)
OR
2c. Clean parts in the dishwasher at a maximum
temperature of 70°C
NOTE:
After soaking in boiling water, you may notice a colour change (whitish) with the tube but this does not
in any way alter proper operation.
The elastic must be removed before cleaning and disinfecting.
c)
Cleaning and maintaining the unit
Cleaning is limited to external parts. This is done with a clean, damp cloth.
