MAKE SURE THE PROPER POLARITY IS OBSERVED. DC BUS VOLTAGE FOR A TWO (2)
BATTERY STRING SHOULD BE BETWEEN 24 AND 27.2 VDC AS TESTED AT THE TOP OF
TB2 (REFER TO FIGURE 5—SYSTEM COMPONENT LAYOUT).
AFTER SERVICING THE BATTERIES, ENSURE THAT EACH STRING (EACH STRING IS 2
BATTERIES TOTAL) CONSIST OF THE NUMBER OF BATTERIES INDICATED BY THE
BATTERY LAYOUT AND THE MEASURED VOLTAGE FROM THE FIRST TO THE LAST

4.4.5. CHARGING OF THE BATTERIES
The Emergency Lighting Inverter System charges its battery whenever it is connected to utility
power and is turned on. Disconnect charging source prior to connecting or disconnecting
