Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Switch off the device before you clean it.
■
Keep the main unit away from water or other liquids to prevent electric shocks.
■
The
fi
lter is neither machine-washable, dishwasher-safe nor suitable for tumble dry-
ing. Only ever dry the
fi
lter in the air, and never use a hair dryer to do so!
■
Accessories that are cleaned with water must be completely dry when they are in-
serted back into the device!
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads. These could
damage the surfaces.
The
fi
lter may lose some of its colour over time. This is normal and does not
have any adverse effect on function. However, if it is damaged or worn, it must
be replaced.
• It needs to be emptied by no later than when the collecting container is full, and
after each use (see the “Emptying the Collecting Container and Cleaning the Filter”
section).
• Clean the housing of the main unit if necessary using a damp, soft cloth. Then dry
it with a soft cloth.
• Remove hair and
fl
uff from the nozzles at regular intervals.
• Keep the device ready for operation. Charge up the battery after each use (see the
“Charging Up the Battery” chapter).
• Store the device in a cool, dry place which is protected from direct sunlight and is out
of the reach of children and animals.
Emptying the Collecting Container and Cleaning the Filter

2. Remove the
fi
lter compartment and
fi

3. Clean the collecting container, the
fi
lter compartment and the

– If you have sucked up dry dirt, empty the collecting container over a rubbish bin.
Tap out the
fi
lter compartment and the
fi
lter. Then wipe them down using a damp
cloth.
– If there is wet dirt in the collecting container, rinse these parts under running water.
4. Let all parts dry completely in the air before you put them back together.
CAUTION:
Never re-insert the
fi
lter and the
fi
lter compartment if they are still damp.
The
device is assembled in the reverse order.
