6.6 Supervisor Setup
The Supervisor menu provides facilities for programming settings. These are usually made
during installation as follows:
6.6.1 Alarms
An alarm can be set to trigger when the pressure exceeds the high alarm or falls below the low
alarm. A buzzer sounds when the alarm triggers and the alarm symbol (bell) appears on the
display.
6.6.2 Communications
Selects a communication port parameter. Simultaneous operation of the RS
-
232, IEEE
488 and
Ethernet interfaces is fitted as standard.

The user can select appropriate settings for communicating with the control computer (PC) and
the required command protocol. Refer to K0472, SCPI Remote Communications Manual or
K0469 Heritage Communications Manual.
INFORMATION
A PIN protects the Supervisor menu against unauthorized
use. Each instrument on delivery contains the factory set PIN (0268). To continue
protecting the supervisor setup menu the PIN should be changed as soon as
possible.
