1. Introduction
The ADTS
405 Altimeter Encoder Option allows the output from encoder altimeters to be
displayed on either the hand-held terminal or display and key-pad of the unit. The displayed data
includes the bit pattern and the equivalent altitude decoded from the bit pattern. The unit supplies
24
VDC to power the altimeter encoder electronics circuit and the altimeter vibrator circuit.
