How to use your garment steamer: Dos and Dont’s after set up

•  Steaming is an effortless way to remove creases in fabric, and is most effective when

applied in slow and steady movements. This gives the steam enough time to relax the

fibres and the creases literally fall right out.

•  Using a motion that is fast may seem like a way to get the job done quicker. Actually,

working in quick strokes, you may find you need to pass over the same area more than

once and in doing so can potentially make your garment damp.

•  For best results, relax, take it easy and let the Verti Steam Pro do all the work for you.

Applying some tension to the fabric during steaming will also improve results and

reduce time taken.

•  Do not use your bare hand as a supporting surface when you steam.

•  Do not direct steam at people, animals or clothes while they are being worn.

•  When you are steaming, place the steamer head 2cm from the garment, and pull the

sides of the garment with your other hand to tension it.

•  Keep the steamer head a slight distance away from dresses with frills, ruffles, ruching or

sequins. Use only the steam to relax the fabric fibres and remove wrinkles and creases.

You can also steam from the inside.

•  Has been designed to be used vertically. Do not use in a horizontal position.

Note:

Always unplug the steamer before you attach or detach the brush attachment. Be

careful, the steamer head may still be hot. The press pad provides vertical support to

enhance the steaming performance. This is meant to be used with a hanger. Press the

steamer head against the garment with press pad as a support.

Note:

Do not wash the press pad as it may damage the foam material.
