Dr. Brown’s Milestones™ soft silicone sippy spout and sippy bottle are designed to help your child

transition from bottle to cup. The sippy spout can also be used in place of the nipple/teat on Dr. Brown’s®

™ Bottles when the internal vent system has been removed.

Sippy spout will not work properly

with the vent system installed, or in non-Dr. Brown’s® ™ Bottles.

Sippy Bottle Assembly

Insert sippy spout from bottom side of collar and pull spout from top until it snaps into place. Fill bottle

for feeding and tighten collar with spout onto bottle. If your sippy bottle has Dr. Brown’s™ Silicone

Handles, place bottle on a firm surface, place handles over neck of bottle and push down into place on

bottle. When removing handles from bottle, soapy water may help handles slide off more easily.

Before first use

Use clean hands and clean surfaces when handling. Wash all parts prior to use. Before first use, place

spout in boiling water for 5 minutes to ensure hygiene. Be sure the spout hole is clean.

Before each use

Pull on the spout before each use to make sure it does not tear. Inspect carefully, especially when the

child develops teeth, and replace the spout immediately if it shows any signs of wear or damage, such as

cracking or change of shape. Small pieces can accidentally be inhaled and cause serious injury. Clean

before each use. The spout must be clean and free of obstructions.

Cleaning

All parts are dishwasher safe (top rack only). Safe for use in electric sterilizer, microwave sterilizer or

boiling water.

For your child’s safety and health

WARNING!

Always use this product with adult supervision. Never use the spout as a pacifier/soother or teether.

Continuous and prolonged sucking of fluids will cause tooth decay. Always check food temperature

before feeding. Always check the spout for signs of wear and replace when damaged. Do not use a

microwave oven to heat the sippy bottle because microwave ovens can create hot spots in milk/formula

or bottle components. The components of this sippy bottle are not toys and should not be given to

children to play with or suck on. Keep all components not in use out of the reach of children. Do not leave

the product in direct sunlight or heat or leave in disinfectant (sterilizing solution) for longer than

recommended, as this may weaken the nipple/teat. Change spouts after approximately 6 weeks of use.

When used and sterilized intensively, spouts may deteriorate after 6 weeks. Do not allow a child to walk or

run while using this sippy bottle.

CAUTIONS

Remove the sippy bottle from your baby’s mouth when the baby is not feeding. Do not let a child take a

bottle to bed or self-feed for long periods. Prolonged contact with milk, formula, and other liquids can

cause tooth decay. Allowing your child to use this product for prolonged periods separate from regular

mealtimes or to go to sleep while drinking liquids, other than water, from this bottle may cause or

contribute to early childhood tooth decay.
