Recess all components into the skylight opening (below right). With outside
mount installation (at left), separate header bars must be attached at both
ends to house the support cable system. With outside installation, fabric stay
pockets are visible from inside the room on all sizes of Skylight FlexShades.
Dimensions shown are for Skylight FlexShades 8´ wide and under.
Due to the force of gravity, Skylight FlexShades are available to a
maximum unsupported width of 42˝. Larger units require one or more
support cables, up to a maximum of 12´ wide x 12´ long. Cables are ³⁄₁₆˝
dia. vinyl clad aircraft cable. Units over 8´ wide must be motorized, inside
mount, with 4⅝˝ x 4⅝˝ headbox and 2¼˝ dia. spring roller.

Note: To facilitate proper operation, Skylight FlexShades must be installed
square and with rollers level. Installers must be qualified craftsmen.

An unprotected skylight can generate intense heat and glare.
Skylight
FlexShades
are the ideal remedy. Inconspicuously recessed into the sky-
light opening, a

provides solar and UV control to
protect people and furnishings.
