Section 5 -

 Wall Mounted Brackets with Side Cables

1. 

Mark wall for placement of mounting brackets.

 Caution:

 Before mounting shades, verify measurements on card provided with shade, and 

ensure brackets are installed at correct width.

2. 

Drill small starter holes 

(if necessary)

 in mounting surface.

3. 

Attach cable deck or wall mount to mounting surface.

4. 

Check cable length required, cut cable and strip approximately ½" of protective jacket.

5. 

Loosen screw in

" wire clamp, place clamp into middle hole of shade bracket 

(from outside of 

bracket)

, then thread cable through holes in wire clamp as far as stripped jacket will allow 

(Fig. 10)

.

6. 

Secure cable to bracket by re-tightening screw in wire clamp  

from outside of bracket.

7. 

Allow cable to hang down to verify that cable has been cut  

to proper length. Make adjustments to cable length  

as required 

(Fig. 11)

8. 

Mount brackets using appropriate fasteners for surface.
