MAINTENANCE

Remove the plug from the socket before carrying out 
adjustment, servicing or maintenance.

CLEANING AND LUBRICATING (Fig.6):

After every use, before storing the hedge trimmer away 
the following should be carried out.

1. Remove all debris from the cutting blade 

using a wire brush or other suitable tool.

2. Using an enviromentaly friendly oil 

(Draper Stock No. 58670) lubricate the 
cutting blade.

3. Operate the cutting blades to allow the oil 

to work into the blades.

4. Carry out steps 2 & 3 several times more.
5. Store the hedge trimmer away with the 

blade cover in place.

NOTE:

 This hedge trimmer is intended for trimming 

hedges and bushes only and any other use consitutes 
inappropriate use.
