The device is only to be used for the purposes specified herein.

Maintenance

Maintenance must only be performed by experts.
All repairs are carried out byDräger or the Medical Bureau of Road Sa-
fety (MBRS).
Only authentic spare parts may be used for maintenance.

Liability for proper function or damage

The device is not to be serviced or repaired by any person not employ-
ed or authorised by the MBRS.
Dräger cannot be held responsible for damage caused by non-
compliance with the recommendations given above.
The warranty and liability provisions of the terms of sale and delivery 
of Dräger are likewise not modified by the recommendations given 
above.

Intended use

The Alcotest

®

 6510

 is an apparatus for indicating the presence of al-

cohol in the breath. The Dual Limit Dräger Alcotest 6510 device was 
approved by the MBRS on 9th December 2010. For mobile use with 
batteries.

2.1

Preparation

The Alcotest 6510 is supplied calibrated to the MBRS by the manufac-
turer. If the calibration date exceeds 6 months arrange to have the de-
vice calibrated by the MBRS. The date of the last calibration can be 
found in the menu (page 11).
