10 Dräger X-zone Switch Off/On

3.5 Alarm (self-latching)
X-zone Switch Off:
When the connected X-zone 5000 generates an alarm,
the outgoing power supply is automatically interrupted by
the X-zone Switch Off.
X-zone Switch On:
When the connected X-zone 5000 generates an alarm,
the outgoing power supply is automatically switched on by
the X-zone Switch On.
3.6 Start-up after an alarm
X-zone Switch Off
z
Press the emergency off switch (2) and unlock it with
the key (3).
The outgoing power supply is switched on and the power
supply LED lights green.
X-zone Switch On
z
Press the reset button (11).
The outgoing power supply is switched off and the power
supply LED goes out.

5 Maintenance
5.1 Maintenance intervals
Observe EN 60079-17 and the relevant national laws and
regulations.
Before starting operation:
z
Check cables are securely attached.
z
Check housing for visible damage.
z
Check sockets for contamination.
z
Check surface of plug pins for damage.
5.2 Cleaning
z
Clean with a cloth, brush, vacuum cleaner or similar.
z
For moist cleaning, use water or a mild, non-scouring, non-
scratching cleaning agent.
6 Disposal
Disposing of electric and electronic equipment:
EC-wide regulations for the disposal of electric and
electronic appliances which have been defined in the
EC Directive 2002/96/EC and in national laws have
been effective since August 2005 and apply to this
instrument.
Special collecting and recycling facilities have been
established for households. However, as this device has not
been registered for household usage, it must not be disposed
of through these means. The device can be returned to your
national Dräger Sales Organisation for disposal. Please do not
hesitate to contact the above if you have any further questions
on this issue.
NOTICE
The alarm settings on the X-zone 5000 can be
configured using the Dräger CC-Vision PC software.
See the Instructions for Use for the Dräger X-zone
5000 for further information.
NOTICE
The connected X-zone 5000 must no longer be in
the alarm state.

CAUTION
