To Start Motor and Engage Blade
1.
To start, insert the power key into the switch slots
located behind the battery pack
(Figure 7).
2.
Depress the button on the blade control switch
(Figure 8)
and pull the blade control lever firmly to
the handlebar
(Figure 9)
. Release the push button.

WARNING:
This blade control is a safety
device. Do not tamper with or bypass.
To Stop Motor and Blade
1.
To stop, release the blade control lever
(Figure 8).

WARNING:
The blade continues to rotate for a
few seconds after the motor is shut off.

Remove the power key when the equipment is
unattended and the motor is shut off.

For easier starting, move the mower to an area
where the grass is short enough not to interfere
with the rotation of the cutting blade. Before
starting (especially for the first time), know how to
stop the motor quickly in the event of an
emergency. To stop the motor, release the blade
control lever.
