REPLACE BATTERY:

1. Remove the battery compartment cover by

  gently pushing down on the arrow and

  sliding the cover forward.

2. Place batteries with “POSITIVE” (+) and

  “NEGATIVE” (-) terminals matching the 

  terminals in the battery compartment.

3. Close the battery cover by gently sliding

  it into the compartment and pressing it

  into place.

1. Always keep the probe portion clean after  

  each use.

2. Keep the thermometer unit dry and keep  

  away from water or liquid.

3. DO NOT expose the thermometer unit to

  direct sunlight.  Keep free from dust

  dirt and sharp objects.

4. DO NOT DISASSEMBLE the unit.

5. Take temperature only when relaxed.    

  Never take your temperature after exercise

  or a bath.  Rest at least 30 minutes after

 walking.

6. Keep thermometer away from mobile   

  phones to prevent malfunction.

7. If you get any of the following display

  messages, we recommend taking your

  temperature at least THREE TIMES and use  

  the HIGHEST reading.

•  Please use a clean cloth with alcohol to  

  clean before and after each use.

  AVOID using on more than one person at

  a time to avoid cross-contamination.

RANGE OF BODY TEMPERATURE

Body temperature means internal temperature 

of the body.  Normal temperature means that 

of a healthy person and has little change 

within short range.  Temperature of a person 

measured in the evening is normally 0.5ºC 

higher than early morning.  It can also be 

affected by the environment, time and level of 

activity.  The chart below shows average 

ranges for an average person.  Refer to this 

chart to find each specific body temperature 

range.

LIMITED WARRANTY

This infrared thermometer is guaranteed for 2 

years from the purchasing date under normal 

use.  The warranty does not cover the 

damage resulting from improper use or the 

battery running out.  If the unit does not 

function properly due to defective parts or 

assembly, we will repair it free of charge or 

replace with a new thermometer.

7. 12 MOST RECENT MEMORY RECALL

•  During POWER OFF MODE, press “SCAN”

  button and you will see the memory recall

  when “M” displays on the screen.

  Continually pressing the “SCAN” button  

  and the previous temperature will display  

  on the screen.

  –To exit memory recall mode, press the 

  POWER button directly and you will return  

  to the next measurement.

8. DELETING TEMPERATURE MEMORY

•  During POWER OFF MODE, press “SCAN”  

  button first, the continually press and  

  release “POWER” button.  The LCD screen  

  will display “888.8” and turn off simultane 

  ously.  Under this mode, if you immediately  

  release the “SCAN” button again, the LCD  

  display will show Fu1 - Fu3 - Fu4 until the  

  screen appear blank.  Press the “SCAN”  

  button again, and all memories will be  

 deleted.

6. BATTERY VOLTAGE DISPLAY & 

REPLACEMENT

LOW BATTERY:

When the LCD display shows “Lo” (Figure 

6.1), the batteries need to be replaced for 

accurate readings.
