1)
remove the rubber protection;
2)
take off the locking pin and unscrew the ferrule under the rubber
protection
3)
take off the plastic support where the red button is placed on
standby;
4)
put silicone membrane on and around the demand valve support.
5)
push the silicone membrane toward the top of the support until
you
hear
the click;
6)
put back the plastic body with the silicone membrane in stand by
position;
7)
screw the ferrule and insert the locking pin
8)
insert the rubber protective cover as described above.
10.3.3.
Cleaning of other apparatus components/parts
The toxic nature and the level of contamination define the cleaning frequency.
For cleaning use warm water and neutral detergent, clean vigorously, rinse
abundantly with water and leave to dry in air.
10.4.
Assembly of the “ready for use unit”:
1)
put the load full cylinder in the side bag with harness;
2)
Insert the
seal
wire in the hole of hand wheel of the valve and clamp
the strip close to neck valve; verify the wire is tied to the strap;
3)
connect the demand valve, previously set on stand-by mode, to the
mask by screwing the demand valve ferrule in the mask connection;
4)
put the mask with the demand valve in the bag

MAINTENANCE
The maintenance must be performed by expert personnel only or by D.P.I
assistance service centre.
The frequency of the maintenance activities, as indicated in Norm EN 529, is
established by the manufacturer and for Sekur Navy Mask is listed here below
the maintenance frequency of the D.P.I. masks, C607 SP/A or SFERA SP/A,
is shown in the related handbook attached to the present manual and delivered
with any EEBD unit.
