Maintenance 

• Inspect Latch annually or more frequently if the gate is used often.

• Only lubricate with powdered graphite lubricant. No petroleum-based lubricants, oils etc.

• Keep Latch free of contaminants

Mark the Latch position on Fence Post. 

Drill 2mm Ø pilot holes, and secure with 

supplied countersunk screws.

Position Button Body with Spindle in the 

slot on Latch Body. Mark mount holes, drill 

2mm Ø pilot holes then secure. 

Close gate and place Striker Rod in Latch 

and mark the Rod’s centre on gate. Drill 

pilot holes and mount.

Test lock and unlock from both sides.

TIP: Use a hacksaw to avoid 

bending the Spindle.

Trim both Spindles using the trim 

marks.
