Turn fuel valve on.
6.
Pull choke if engine is cold. If engine is hot, does not use choke.

Grip operator presence bar and grinder handle bar together in left hand.
WARNING
:
A rotating cutter wheel is very dangerous. Stay at the controls and keep
others away until you are sure the blade has come to a complete stop.
WARNING
:
Cutter wheel immediately begins rotating when starter is pulled
. There
is no clutch or gear to separately start or stop cutter wheel.

Since the cutter wheel starts rotating when starter is activated, press down on handle bar to
lift cutter wheel off the ground.
9.
A.) Pull Start:
Rapidly pull “Start” cord (recoil starter) with right hand several times until
engine starts. Allow starter cord to return slowly.
B.)
Electric Start:
Turn Key switch to the START position and hold until the engine stars.
10.
If engine does not start, repeat steps 5-8.
