OPERATION
06.1 Charging the Li-Ion battery
The KL-15 head light is equipped with a with powerful, long-life
Li-Ion battery (type 18650 3.7V 2200mAh)
. Before fi rst use, ple-
ase charge the supplied Li-Ion battery. For charging open the rubber cover (6). Underneath you will fi nd the Micro USB port (7).
Connect the head light to your computer using the supplied USB cable. While charging, the LED indicator (8) lights up red. After
approx. 4 hours the Li-Ion battery is fully charged and the LED indicator (8) lights up green.
06.2 Replacing the Li-Ion battery
After its service life the Li-Ion battery can be replaced. Screw-off the battery compartment cover (5) in arrow direction "Open".
Insert an appropriate Li-Ion battery (type 18650 3.7V 2200mAh) according to polarity into the battery compartment (4) and
screw on the battery compartment cover again.
06.3 Turn on/off the head light
To turn on/off the head light press the On/Off button (3) at the light head.
06.4 Brightness/Sensor Mode/Strobe Mode
To adjust the brightness or for selecting the sensor mode or the strobe mode press the On/Off button (3) as follows:
100% brightness (regular mode)
press 1x in quick succession
25% brightness (regular mode)
press 2x in quick succession
Strobe mode (regular mode)
press 3x in quick succession
100% brightness sensor mode press 1x for about 3 seconds until the sensor mode LED (2) lights up red.
By waving in front of the light head, you can switch the head light on or off .
CAUTION:
When head light is in sensor mode off , the head light is still under tension and
it
consumes
energy.
Therefore
remember
to
turn
the
head
light
off
after
use.

CLEANING AND STORAGE
Never use aggressive cleansing agents or benzine to clean the head light. We recommend a soft, slightly damp microfi ber cloth
to clean the outer parts of the device.
The head strap can be removed and washed at 30° in the washing machine. Do not tumble dry.
Store the device in a dust-free, dry and cool place. This device is not a toy – keep it out of reach of children. Keep away from pets.
