8.1 Diagnosing Faults
Message
Possible Cause
Fault Elimination
Gun is in the EcoGun Cleaner
M, but the system EcoDose
2K will not purge or mix
Air of EcoDose 2K is
shut off
Turn on the air to the system
EcoDose 2K
Gun switch is not
activating
Test the switch. Replace it if it
is damaged
Tubing is not installed
correctly
Check tubing against
schematic on cap. 11
EcoGun Cleaner M fails to
purge after the pot life time
ends.
Gun is not in EcoGun
Cleaner M
Place the gun in the EcoGun
Cleaner M
Gun switch is not
activating
Test the switch. Replace it if it
is damaged
Gun trigger is not open when
the EcoGun Cleaner M
controller activates it.
Tubing is not installed
correctly
Check tubing against
schematic on cap. 11
Cylinder is damaged
Clean cylinder rod or replace
Gun is not properly set
in the gun holder
Check to make sure the gun
holder is not obstructed by
buildup
Lower cylinder is out of
adjustment
Adjust the block as instructed
in
Trigger Height Adjustment
procedure cap.
