Intercom
When using more than one handset with the same base unit, calls can be made
internally between the handsets, referred to as internal calls, or intercom. Intercom
calls can only be made between handsets connected to the same base unit

.Enter the handset number for the handset that you wish to call,

Should an external call come in while an intercom call is in progress, a tone will be
heard and the EXT symbol will flash. You can then terminate the intercom call by
pressing

, in order to be able to receive the external call by pressing

.
Transferring calls between handsets
An external call can be transferred from one handset to another so long as they are
both using the same base unit.

Enter the handset number for the handset that you wish to call,

To transfer the call press

on the calling handset.
If you decide not to transfer the call, press

again on the calling handset to return
to the external caller.
