This manual contains important safety, installation and maintenance
instructions. Please keep this manual for future reference.
If you should require any assistance or additional information, please
contact DoorHan service department (ref. «Service department» paragraph).
GENERAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Only the component parts specified and supplied with the door
should be used.
Do not permit children to be around the door during its installation.
Follow the instructions provided with the electric operator during
its installation.
Before starting door installation make sure the door opening is
properly prepared and suitable for installation.
The door opening shall always be free of any foreign objects.
Calculation and connection of the heating circuit, supply cable
and cable between boxes is performed by the door installer.
INSTALLATION TEAM
The optimal number of installation team — 2 people. If the door is to be equipped
with an operator or a heating circuit the team should include a qualified electrician.

Door installation shall be performed by a team which have been trained at
DoorHan training centre and got a corresponding certificate.
The team should use proper tools specified at page 3.
INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
The guides must be installed vertically, which can be checked by a water level.
Diagonals of horizontal tracks shall be equal (allowable deviation is ± 5 mm).
Connect the door parts strictly following installation instructions.
Side seals and gaskets of the panel shall be strictly in line, gaps are not allowed.
Spring tensioning shall be performed with a special tap wrench (ref. page 17,
fig. 13,1a, 13.1b).
The spring is tensioned for a particular number of turns (ref. page 16, fig. N).
Fasten the spring end with a bolt applying force of maximum 15 N·m.
After spring tensioning please verify that the split pin (ref. page 17, fig.13.3a,
13.3b) is removed from the spring break safety device.
Mounting options:
а) if the wall around the opening is strong enough to support the door (whole
brick, solid concrete, metal channels) it can be attached directly to the wall;
b) if the wall material has low strength (hollow brick, silicate block, low
compressive strength concrete, wood, etc.), then it is required to frame the opening
with steel profiles.
Before installation, please ensure that the content of your door kit is complete
as per the specification included in the package.
HEATING CABLE SPECIFICATIONS
Input voltage — 220 V.
Power per 1 m — 30 W.
Operating temperature: -60…+200 °С (up to +230 °С for a short time).
Minimum bending diameter: 15 mm.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
If the heating circuit is to be installed please do the following:
1. Pre-installation verification.
1.1. Make sure the quantity and numbers of the heating cable and its
components correspond to the data listed in the installation chart.
1.2. Verify that the heating cable and its components were not damaged
during transportation.
1.3. Verify that the rated supply voltage of the heating cable corresponds to
the supplied operating voltage.
2. Heating cable installation.
2.1. When installing the cable, avoid sudden jerks and excessive force, as
well as walking on the cable and passing it over with a vehicle. If the heating cable is
left at the installation site for some time, it must be protected from moisture.
ATTENTION!
In case of failure or incorrect operation of the heating cable, upon detection of
smoke or unusual odour it is required to contact the service department.
WARNING!
As with any electrical equipment operating from high voltage, damage to the
heating cable and heating components or improper installation can lead to moisture
penetration into the system or its contamination, which can result in short circuit,
sparking and fire outbreak.
Do not connect heating cable conductors to each other as it will cause short
circuit. All unconnected heating cable ends must be insulated with cable end sealing.
To prevent fire or explosion in hazardous areas, ensure that the maximum
temperature of the heating cable sheath is below the self-ignition temperature of the
gases in the hazardous area. Heating system installation shall be performed using
only corresponding spare parts with observation of installation instructions attached
to them.
Heating circuit installation can be performed by personnel:
- trained and certified for basic fire safety;
- having at least the first qualification group on electrical safety;
- qualified in electrical safety instructions;
- having knowledge of first aid for burns and electric shock.
